Palm Sunday (Mar. 20) is always an exciting morning at South Whitley UMC.  At this 8:30 am service, the children are involved in emulating the celebratory entrance of Christ by walking through the aisles waving palm branches.  This sets the stage for a thoughtful service leading up to the last 24 hours leading to the crucifixion of Jesus.  Pastor Chris Stahlman will explore with us how this event changed the world.  Following the service you can meet and greet others at the free coffee bar in the lobby/foyer and then join others in a classroom of your choosing where small groups convene for additional friendship and discussion.  At 11:00 am a second service is held with the same message and upbeat music.  That evening the youth will have their Fusion meeting at the Klepinger’s home from 6 to 8 pm.
